Introduction

  • My goal was to create the last two zones of the level, based on the theme of an oriental palace.

  • My intention as level designer was to wow the players in the final two zones, to make them feel the grandeur and luxury of an oriental palace at sunset.

  • To do this I drew my inspiration from real life, with a mix of Persian and Indian architecture, as well as from video games.

  • Define exotic feature and visual search

  • Create global layout and Level Design document

  • Designed the entire map (blockout) and worked on signs and feedback

  • Setup of NPC placement and patrols

  • Setup narrative cinematics

  • Playtest and balance the map with feedback of the players
